- E-governance is one of the important objective of mumbai APMC.The APMC has been using integrated software fo arrival,market fee assessment,receipts etc.since long back i.e 1994 Installation of new web based software is undertaken.
- The Computers and related equipment of apmc have been purchase between 2003 and 2004 , So the given system are old.An APMC’s current programming software has been developed in old programming language in 1987 to 1994.for implementation of Maharashtra State Agricultural Marketing Boards(MSAMB) e-nam , e-tendering system and e-marketing system new programming software decided to to be implemented.
- The Mumbai APMC is using E-nam portal of GOI for onion & potato market in the first phase .For this dedicated leased line is hired
- Developing Mobile App:
To easily available information of APMC’s Arrival commodity and daily Market Rates to farmers, dealers and other agriculture aspects , the APMC’s app development process has been initiated.
- Developing APMC's Website
To provide unique independent portal for having all information about apmc and related aspects to all end users, the APMC’s Website development process has been initiated.
The updation Work is going on.
- Electric Display Board
Elwctronic Display board is installed in Administrative building and market 2 (Grain Market) to publish information of arrival & rates in th Mumbai APMC.
- The mumbai APMC has created its facebook page and twitter page for information of activities and event of organization.
- Kiosk Machine
The most of the installation of kiosk machine in the markets is undertaken so that market arrival ,rates and data has to be known and other data is available to the interested farmers,traders.Commisionar available to the interested farmers,Traders.Commisionar agent is available easily.
