The department looks after the work of issuing new and renewal licenses to different market entities like traders, traders, traders, porters, transporters, buyers etc. in the market premises of the market committee and the work related to the composition and bye-laws of the market committee. The Deputy Secretary is the head of the department and the work of the department is looked after through a Secretary and staff.
